Oh how i miss this view in the morning!

Just thought i would dump some photos here so that you can enjoy them as much as i do. While i wait for them to upload i will fill you in on the very exciting details of life here in canukville. I've taken my room apart and i'm getting the walls prepared for painting. we're at the fill-in-all-the-holes-jeanette's-put-in-the-walls stage of the process. i wear my aussie county worker shirt to remind me of the good ol days. Yesterday i went to night church in millwoods and it was really nice to be back there again. after the service we went to my sister's place and had ice coffees. sitting there in the basement suit made me long for my own freedom and place to live. don't tell the parents, but i am kinda hoping to move out soon...even though im just now re-doing my room...my parents alreay got me to work at the Farmer's Market to sell our Menno's Sausage (woop! woop!)it wasnt so bad, and i really need the money anyway. The market is held on whyte ave, for those of you who aren't from edmonton area, thats the ave of town where all the pubs and homeless and shops are, its the place to be apparently. so i was walking to the parking lot and on my way there i saw some mormons talking to people, the one guy wasnt talking to anyone when i walked by and so i stopped to talk. he asked me what i knew about the book of mormon and i stumbled through saying something about joseph smith and something else that was pretty lame. so then he went on to educate me on the book of mormon. and it was really interesting to listen to it because they have this circular thinking. they start with proving the book of mormon is true (no!?), then because the book is true then joseph smith must have been inspired by God, therefore whatever else he said is true, therefore this is true and so on an so on. so if we can bring down the book of mormon, they have nothing left to stand on. so that was a little bit frustrating for me to have been stumped so early in my being released from the bubble, but it has only made me more interested in finding out how i can show them they are believing a lie. i have a book of mormon now, he gave one to me, and he wanted my phone number and wanted to come to my house. is this a ministry or a way of getting girl's numbers? juuuuuuuuuuust kidding. ok, well, i am getting a little sleepy and i have many appointments to go to tomorrow to do with my mouth. haha. i have 3 appointments in the next 2 days. i love you all and miss you so much, please feel free to ring here, but not in the middle of the night. i am 8 hours ahead of aus. talk to you later!!

hey guys!! im home once again and wow does it ever feel strange. for all the 2007 capers people, i wore the crown all the way from sydney to edmonton only to take it off once when i slept and it slipped off and other times to take of my jumper. i wore it with great pride and made many friends because of it. i will post more when ive got the time, but i am looking forward to what God has in store for me here.

coming home

well guys, i thought the day would never come, i guess kinda hoping that i might not happen that i would have to leave this haven here in moss vale NSW Australia. I've only got a mere 9 days left at the school. it kinda just hit me today that i will be leaving so soon. i haven't started packing yet, but i did do a load of wash...does that count? I am just in denial i suppose. but anyway, so when i return i am hoping to have a welcome home party on holiday monday the 22nd at around 2 and then go until whenever, but probably not very late because i will be wiped. just want to see all your faces for a while. its been so long! but only a few more days. i hope you can make it. let others know about it too, i dont have everone's contacts. if you need directions or anything, just email me @ jeanette_janzen@hotmail.com
